Trust / The paperwork behind the promise

A licensed, insured Ottawa
renovation contractor - guaranteed in writing.

Before you let anyone tear into your home, you should be able to check the paperwork. Here are the plain answers - insurance, WSIB, licensed electrical, written contract, warranty, and permits - every one backed by a document we'll hand you on request.

Straight answers

Licensed, insured, and documented.

  • Are you insured?

Yes. We carry commercial general liability insurance, and we'll provide a current certificate of insurance on request before any work starts. If a subtrade is on your site, they carry their own coverage too.

  • Do you have WSIB clearance?

Yes. We hold WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) coverage and can provide a clearance certificate before the job begins - so you're never exposed to liability for a worker injured on your property.

  • Is your electrical work licensed and permitted?

Yes. All electrical is done by licensed electricians and permitted and inspected through the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) whenever the scope requires it. You get the ESA certificate of inspection as part of the job.

  • Do you use a written contract?

Always. Every project runs on a written, fixed-price contract. The price on that contract is the price on the final invoice - the only way it changes is a change you request, priced and approved in writing before any extra work happens.

  • What warranty do you offer?

A 5-year written workmanship warranty on everything we build, plus the full manufacturer warranty on every fixture, tile, cabinet, and faucet we install - handed to you at the final walkthrough. If something we built fails within the warranty, we come back and fix it.

  • Who handles the permits?

We do. When your renovation needs a City of Ottawa building, plumbing, or electrical permit, we pull it, schedule the required inspections, and clear them before your final walkthrough. You never chase the city.
