These terms govern your use of the Ottawa Property Experts website and the free information, quote requests, and consult bookings we offer through it. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the site.

Ottawa Property Experts is a residential renovation business based in Ottawa, Ontario, serving Ottawa and the surrounding region. These terms cover the website; the actual renovation work is governed by a separate written contract signed before any tools touch your home (see section 3).

1. Using this site

You may browse, read, save, and share pages from this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or republish our content, photos, or project case studies without written permission.
• Submit false information through the quote or contact form.
• Use the site to send spam, harvest data, or interfere with how the site runs for other visitors.
• Attempt to access systems, accounts, or data you are not authorized to access.

2. Information on the site is general

Service descriptions, price ranges, timelines, and project examples on this site are general guidance based on typical Ottawa-area work. They are not a quote, an offer, or a promise of any specific price or schedule for your project. Real numbers come after a free in-home consult and arrive in a written fixed-price quote.

3. Quotes, contracts, and the Triple Promise

All renovation work we do for you is governed by a separate written contract that we both sign. That contract sets out the full scope of work, pricing, payment schedule, start and completion dates, permits, warranty terms, and any conditions or exclusions.

The Triple Promise referenced throughout this site — done on time or we pay, fixed price, and our 5-year workmanship warranty — is a real commitment, but the legally enforceable version is the wording written into your signed renovation contract. If anything you read here conflicts with your signed contract, the signed contract controls.

Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote document (typically 30 days) and may need to be revised if the scope changes or if specified materials become unavailable.

4. Intellectual property

All photography (including before-and-after project images), copy, design, logos, and case studies on this site are the property of Ottawa Property Experts or used with permission of the homeowner. You may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute them without our prior written consent. Linking to our pages is fine and encouraged.

5. Third-party links

This site links to outside resources — for example the City of Ottawa building permits page, manufacturer websites, and our review pages on Google, HomeStars, and Houzz. We don't control those sites, and we're not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

6. Reviews and project photos

We only publish reviews from real, completed clients and we link back to the source platform (Google, HomeStars, or Houzz) so you can verify them. We never invent ratings or testimonials. Before-and-after photos are published with the homeowner's written permission.

7. Disclaimer

This website is provided "as is". We work to keep information accurate and current, but we don't guarantee that every page is free of errors, that the site will always be available, or that it will be free of bugs or interruptions. Use of the site is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, Ottawa Property Experts is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for things that cannot be limited by law (for example, gross negligence or fraud), and nothing in these terms limits or replaces the warranty and liability terms set out in your signed renovation contract.

9. Privacy

The information you give us through this site is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute about this website or these terms will be brought in the courts of Ontario.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally — when we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
